Our Story
We are two students from Institut d'Optique Graduate School. We created KARL Tech in 2019 while attending to the Station F student program.
Our Vision
We want to improve the customer experience while optimizing online sales by reducing clients' returns through accurate color rendering.
Technology
We developped our cutting-edge chromatic addaptation technology in collaboration with researchers from Paris-Saclay and Saint-Etienne.
How it works
Illumination characterization
We characterized the properties of various standard illuminations. We can also define any wanted specific place's illumination such as customer's home or event center.
Color adaptation
After defining the desired illumination. We provide the products images with color correction to simulate how the product would look like under the selected illuminant.
